Our Story
For the longest time, we watched neurodivergent children being misunderstood and sidelined, being pushed into rigid therapies that felt more like punishment than support. They went through sessions that felt more mechanical than meaningful—missing the warmth and understanding. They weren’t told what was happening or why—just expected to keep going.
Alongside this, we saw parents struggling—moving from place to place, trying to find the right support. But most of what they received were general suggestions, unclear directions, and programs that followed a one-size-fits-all approach—rarely tuned in to what their child specifically needed. The crucial question, “Is my child really getting what they truly need?”, went unanswered. It left families confused, exhausted, and unsure of what to trust anymore.

That’s when 'The Fortitude Academy' was born.
TFA was started with a clear purpose: to break this exhausting cycle by providing a one-stop solution for all these challenges—through meaningful, thoughtful interventions and consistent support at every step.
Our programs weren't just designed to support children in the present; they were built to shape their future. The programs at TFA were designed with the child’s real needs at the heart of every decision—not based on templates, but built with care. And making it all work on the ground took time, trust, and a team that truly showed up—for every child, every day.
TFA's Mission
Society often values those who fit into conventional expectations, while anyone who challenges societal norms is unfairly seen as ‘less than’ or ‘falling short.’ We aim to shift the world’s perspective on neurodivergent individuals, so they are not seen as ‘helpless or unfortunate’, by creating a conscious society where people acknowledge, accept and respect the differences in others and amongst themselves without looking down on them for not fitting into a conventional mold---because when we understand who we truly are, we can focus on what we do best and by working in our natural way, the results will speak for themselves and contribute to the creation of a more meaningful world.
Core Team

Ms. Puja Sinha
Founder, Senior Therapist
With a strong foundation in clinical psychology and years of hands-on experience, I’ve seen how generic approach often falls short. That’s why I’m not here to follow the status quo — I’m here to change it. I believe every child is a force of nature and deserves attention. At The Fortitude Academy, my team and I dive deep into each child’s neurobiopsychology to fully understand their real challenges and create lasting, meaningful growth.

Ms. Nakshathra
Child Therapist
In my eyes neurodiversity isn’t a deviation from normal—it is normal for those who live it, keeping the same view, my approach shifted from encouraging conformity to self-confidence, acceptance, and practical life skills based on each child’s individual strengths. Every person, regardless of ability, deserves the chance to grow- I am here to vouch for same.

Ms. Nikita
Child Therapist
Every behavior holds a story, and I listen with an open heart. As a therapist, I believe every child deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and deeply valued. I create environments where they can explore freely, express themselves honestly, and grow in ways that feel natural to them. I walk alongside them, honoring their unique rhythms and ways of connecting, gently guiding them toward greater confidence, independence.

Ms. Kriti

I believe creativity can open doors for every child. At The Fortitude Academy, I use design to tell powerful stories. Every project is my way of standing up for kids who deserve the best.

Behind every smooth-running day at TFA is solid planning. I may not work with the children directly, but every task I handle helps the team do their best for them — and that’s what keeps me going every day.

Working with TFA means being part of something that truly matters. As the accountant, I take care of the numbers so the team can focus on the kids. Being part of this mission, even from the backend, gives my work real meaning.
